Multiplayer – Before you dive in to the online fray, learn the mechanics of Dawn of War III’s Power Core multiplayer mode.

Codex

Want to learn more? The Codex is the place to go for a complete library of resources, from controls and HUD, to various faction-specific information, and even information on all the Elite units and Doctrines. To access the Codex, from the main menu select Learn and then Codex.

Single-Player Campaign

For those craving an epic story that spans multiple worlds in the Dawn of War universe, we recommend you play the campaign. Throughout 17 missions, you’ll play as all three factions and a variety of Elite units, preparing you for when you decide you take on the world in online battles.

Multiplayer

Dawn of War III multiplayer lets you team up with friends, go head to head against new players from around the world, or even battle the computer in an AI skirmish. If this is your first time playing Dawn of War III, it might be worth going a few rounds against the AI to find your footing. The AI has multiple difficulty levels, and you’ll still be able to gain experience and Skulls like regular multiplayer matches!

When you head into the multiplayer tab, first you’ll need to equip your loadout. On the left, you’ll see your Elite loadout and their elite-specific doctrine selection. On the right you’ll see your Army Doctrine selection. Mix and match various Elites and Doctrines to find a combination that suits your play style, and unlock more of each with the Skulls you earn by playing!

After you’ve completed your first few matches against other players online, you’ll be able to go to your player profile and see your rank on the leaderboards. Your rank is just for bragging rights, so if you’re not the competitive type, don’t worry!

Good luck on the battlefield!
